Cloth Wipes | sets of 10 or 30

$18.00

Why consider a change: as you head down the sustainable living path, it becomes easy to see how many single use products exist in our homes. These cloths provide a reusable option for many things within the home without any plastic content, plastic packaging, or big box shops.

The Product: Handcrafted cloth wipes by Cheeks Ahoy - a Peterborough based small family shop. Cloth wipes clean so much more efficiently and are so versatile, you'll be impressed.

The wipes come in a 10 package size or a 30 package size for a savings.

They are also perfect for:
-runny noses (no more red noses!)
-bath-time
-toilet paper
-napkins, kids lunch boxes
-camping
-removing make-up or as face cloths/wash cloths
...All while reducing waste and avoiding nasty chemicals, petroleum products, plastics and preservatives found in many commercial disposable wipes.

If they get left in a pocket and thrown in the wash, they will just get clean: no more picking tiny pieces of shredded paper off of everything in the dryer!

Check out our blog for more ideas and tips on how to implement their use in your home.

The Company: Cheeks Ahoy is a small, female-owned and handmade shop based in Peterborough, Ontario.

Care:
First, if needed, loosen stains with a cold rinse, then do a warm or hot wash with your detergent of choice. Do not use fabric softener or dryer sheets as these will decrease absorbency. Tumble dry or hang to dry. Flannel naturally becomes softer and more absorbent with continued washes. These wipes will hold up to all the rinsing and hot washes you put your cloth diapers through. Wipes are not pre-washed, so expect some shrinkage (ends up as 7"x8")

Cheeks Ahoy is a small, woman-owned company that hand-makes all products in Peterborough, Ontario. Cheeks Ahoy got its start when owner and mama Leah found her baby's skin was sensitive to the disposable wipes. They now offer a full line of household cloth reusables with the goal of helping families care for the environment, while also saving money.
