Facial Dry Brushes | Handmade Agave Fibre
Why consider a change: while dry brushing is revealing in a new level of popularity, the plastic packaged and plastic bristle options are of course abounding everywhere. Even if you can find a fully compostable brush, the sourcing of the product can be a little hazy. This brush is handmade and the artisans are paid fairly for their work.
The Product: Dry brushing is a traditional technique used to slough off dead cells, reduce the appearance of cellulite, cleanse the lymphatic system, support digestion, increase the brusher's energy, and stimulate circulation. Plus, it feels really, really good! These brushes support the practice and come in a few different sizes.
These dry brushes are made with agave fibres by artisan partners using traditional methods of care.
To Use: You can use daily, preferably in the morning, to dry brush the face. Use firmer pressure on thicker skin areas (such as your feet), and then rinse your body with both hot and cold water. The brush is meant to be used dry only and should not get wet to ensure the agave fibre bristles retain their quality.
Care: This piece is only for use as a dry brush. Water will destroy the bristles irreparably. For best results, the brush can be moved across the face in firm, small strokes in an upwards or circular motion. With the daily addition of this ritual for 3 – 5 minutes a day, skin will be substantially softer and firmer, and overall health improved.
