Made of recycled ripstop nylon. Designed with minimal waste (and increased durability); the bags are assembled in one continuous piece, with the neck of the bag used to construct the carrying pouch.

Baggu's Recycled Nylon: Starting with our Spring 2022 collection, all of our ripstop nylon styles are now made with 100% recycled nylon filament yarn (up from 40% recycled before). This 100% recycled nylon yarn is produced from pre-consumer waste, which saves scrap material from being landfilled — meaning every Standard Baggu is now made entirely from nylon that would otherwise go to a landfill. This also conserves petroleum resources, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

Baggu is an American company. Baggu's products are ethically manufactured in China, with ISO 9001:2015- and ISO 140001-certified manufacturers. These manufacturing facilities are audited yearly by an independent third party, to ensure they are upholding standards of occupational health and safety, and that humane work hours and wages are enforced. BAGGU was created to eliminate unnecessary waste, and that means responsibly managing deadstock products and fabric. We never incinerate or landfill our deadstock products. Baggu is closed loop and accepts back bags at the end of their life for reprocessing; simply bring it into our shop and we will take care of it.
