A degradable plastic hair clip?!

Cellulose acetate is a degradable plastic made of plant pulp matter such as wood, corn, wheat grass, and sugarcane. It is just as hardy, and able to stand up to water; and yet once it begins to degrade, it can degrade fully when exposed long term to bacteria, sunlight, water and air. 

These barrettes are sold in sets of two, plastic package free, and are sourced from a female owned company, Nat and Noor.
