Speaking Events: Sustainable Events at Queen's University

In 2023, we had the pleasure of being an expert panelist for Queen's University's Sustainability Conference and the Queen's Project for International Development on Mass Consumerism alongside some outstanding local professionals in the sustainability sphere.

Partnership with Sustainable Kingston

We are an active member of Sustainable Kingston, a local non-profit organization.

We were excited to be asked by Sustainable Kingston to put together a webinar to celebrate Plastic Free July 2021 in a virtual way. Partnership with Queen's University

We partnered with Queen's University in December 2022 when we were asked to present for Queen's Sustainable Series. Ange took on the topic of the Mindset Changes involved with Long Term Sustainability in a Consumer Society.

Partnership with Cabinscape

In spring 2021, we partnered with Cabinscape to bring the refillery model to their off-grid cabins in order to decrease single use plastic waste and ensure all products were biodegradable to eliminate future impacts on the environment.

Each Cabinscape cabin is now equipped with kitchen and shower products using a refill model, and other items (disinfectant cleaner, degradable kitchen tools, etc.) have been added to their cabins. Harlowe Green designed exclusive labels for Cabinscape, an informational card for each cabin to showcase these conscious changes, experience kits that source goods from small local shops with eco-friendly ingredients and packaging, and an ordering system for continued future refills to decrease future impacts as well.

Partnership with Ontario Highlands Tourism Organization

In fall 2021, we partnered with OHTO to curate an experience kit for their annual OH! Summit and AGM that sourced local goods and packaging for their kit following a model for a better impact, environmentally and socially.
