The Product: This set of 25 plastic-free bandages by Patch help you decrease your ecological footprint. Each strip is made from 100% soft organic bamboo fibre.

Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource that grows faster than trees, uses less water, produces more oxygen and requires no pesticides or herbicides. It also ensures these strips are fully biodegradable - they are compostable and have been tested to break down in garden soil within weeks.

These strips are free from irritating chemicals, allowing for suitable protection and soft support for all sensitive skin types. They're latex-free, vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and contain no plastics or toxins. They are also hypoallergenic, so perfect for those with sensitive skin.

Ange's note: These strips are also tested by our family and "stick" as effectively as any regular bandage that you're used to. However, they do come off when wet (which has actually been great in trying to remove it from a child's skin, as we actually don't want a soggy bandage sticking around for too long anyway!). These definitely remove the guilt of giving in once that toddler hits the stage of wanting a bandage for those hurts that don't exactly require a bandage.

Children's: These strips have a panda print and are enriched with coconut oil to assist in the natural repair of minor grazes, cuts and abrasions.

Aloe Infused: infused with aloe vera to promote wound healing; awesome for blisters and burns.

Charcoal infused: black strips infused with activated charcoal to promote wound healing; awesome for bites and splinters.

The Company: Patch was founded when the owner, James, found his oldest son had significant skin reactions to conventional bandages. Upon further research, he found a long list of chemicals within the ingredients, including cheap plastics. This company provides large donations to aid relief around the world, is a Certified B Corporation, has several environmental and sustainability certifications, and is based out of/manufactured in Australia.
