Why consider a change: dry shampoos are often packaged in aerosol cans, which are often incredibly hard to recycle and are often part of hazardous waste recycling due to their make-up. Plus, aerosols turn the product into a small particle that is sprayed into your home's air, which is especially troublesome close to the face (and breathed in) and when the ingredients are often toxic to the human body. Dry shampoos often include a number of toxic ingredients, including artificial fragrances.

To Use: Section your hair an inch or so on either side of your part and sprinkle a little on the top. Give it a quick rub and continue on mid way down your head. Repeat on the rest of your hair where needed. Use at night before you go to bed to give the product more time to work its magic while you sleep. 

Our tip: save an old blush/bronzer/powder make-up brush to help blend natural dry shampoo - after sprinkling, use your brush to distribute the powder and brush in from the root outward in small swipes.
