The sponge cloth has been a staple in Swedish kitchens for over 60 years and can absorb 15x its own weight in liquid (up to 3/4 of a cup). One sponge cloth can replace the use of up to 17 rolls of paper towel, reducing the plastic packaging, cost, impact of paper processing, and overall waste in landfills. 

Sponge cloths handle a variety of kitchen and bathroom surfaces without streaking and are great for granite, stainless steel, laminate and glass top stoves. The cellulose (wood pulp) and cotton composition is 100% biodegradable and can be thrown away with compostable waste.

The cloth is naturally anti-bacterial due to its quick drying ability which means no 'dish cloth' smell!

Care: Your cloth's lifespan is dependent on how you use your cloth and personal preference. Simply place the cloth in the top rack of the dishwasher or place it in the laundry to wash it; although it dries very quickly and is antibacterial, so frequent washing is not necessary. Do not place it in the dryer and allow it to air dry.

These cloths can be used up to 6-12 months or 200 wash cycles. When you feel it is too rough to use as a dish cloth or cleaning cloth, set is aside for a gross job (like washing outdoor furniture or your car) before composting it.
